Fuel additives such as HEET Antifreeze and Water Remover contain methanol which can damage your engine. I don't know, but why it's on the market doesn't make sense to me.

They not only contain it,, it is it.methanol is alcohol, the alcohol absorbs water then mixes with fuel, then it is burned with fuel to help water from build up in your tank. petrol does not.

If you are fixed for more than a few minutes. When you are stopped on less than a few minutes and there is no point in fighting engine this is because you will use more fuel to the engine conversion. If you are stopped for more than a few minutes, but your car will consume less fuel if you turn it off.
