Our wood briquettes are similar to our wood pellets, but are physically
larger. They can vary in diameter from around 60mm to 70mm and they are
usually between 60mm and 150mm in length. They offer a cleaner, more
consistent alternative to firewood logs, offering higher energy density
and steady combustion.
Like our wood pellets, only wood shavings, dry chips and sawdust are used for the production of our remarkably pure premium quality briquettes. They too contain no binding agents or artificial additives. And as confirmed by laboratory tests, 's wood briquettes are extremely energy-rich and produce only small amounts of ash.
Energy Density Features
The combination of low moisture content (7% to 8%) with a compressed, dense pellet (typically less than 1,000 kg/m3 i.e. greater than the original wood) and the ability to flow and pack closely, results in a fuel with a high bulk energy density.
