's wood pellets are currently being produced at our
state-of-the-art integrated production facility in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Our remarkably pure premium quality wood pellets are made from compacted
wood shavings, dry chips and sawdust obtained from sawmills or other
wood processing activities near our plant. They contain no binding
agents or artificial additives, and as a result, are extremely
energy-rich and produce only small amounts of ash.
Laboratory tests have proven that our wood pellets are also extremely
dense and have low humidity content. This enables them to be burned with
very high combustion efficiency. Their high density also permits our
wood pellets to be compactly stored and easily transported over long
distances. To date, 's wood pellets are much sought after in
various markets for their energy efficacy and for their
environmental-friendly features.
Energy Density Features
The heating value of two kilograms of wood pellets equals
approximately that of one litre of heating oil. Yet, unlike the burning
of fossil fuels like oil, coal or natural gas, the burning of wood
pellets is CO2 neutral – meaning that they release exactly the same amount of CO2 as is stored in them.
The combination of low moisture content (6% - 8%) with a compressed, dense pellet (typically less than 700 kg/m3
i.e. greater than the original wood) and the ability to flow and pack
closely, results in a fuel with a high bulk energy density. As such, our
wood pellets require less storage space than lower density fuels such
as wood chips.
