Last Updated: Friday 8th of May 2009 07:56:00 AM -0600MDTSWITZERLAND - Switzerland is planning the country's first sugar cane ethanol plant.
According to reports of Swiss Info the CHF100 million plant will be built in Delémont, in the Jura canton.
The plant is expected to produce 100,000 tonnes of fuel and 30,000 tonnes of alcohol refining crude sugar cane alcohol from Brazil.
