Workshop brings German biogas experience brought to Syria
A workshop held in cooperation with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) focused on technologies used in renewable energy resources production.
The German experience in biogas production and the technology used in it was reviewed in the workshop which was held by Suweida Governorate in cooperation with Damascus University.
Suweida Governor Malek Ali highlighted the importance of getting acquainted with the technologies used in the developed countries to benefit from it in the experience of producing biogas applied in Suweida since 2008.
Head of Bioengineering Department at Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering in Potsdam, Germany, Bernd Linke, underscored the advantages of bioenergy production technology as one of the resources of alternative and clean energy.
